Here at Associations International we have a set requirement for employees to set up their password.
One key requirement for an employee to change their password is they must be connected via VPN and once you change it, you must lock the computer and then re-login with the new password.
The current password requirements are:
- One capital letter
- A multi-word passphrase that is easy to remember and a minimum of 14 characters (spaces are encouraged but not required)
- Numbers and special characters (_,*,&) are encouraged but not required
Note: The password should never be written down or stored digitally where it is not encrypted
