You know that budget spreadsheet that you open over and over again...but you have to browse to it because you don't want to clutter up your desktop? If you want to keep that budget spreadsheet handy, pin it to your "Recent" list in Excel. Or that template that you open in Word 90 times a day: Pin it to your Recent list. Every time you open your application your pinned documents will be right at the top of your recent files list ready to open.

  • Click File->Open,
  • right click on a frequent doc and click "Pin to list".
  • CLICK LESS from now on
