The "Request Files" feature in OneDrive for Business, now called OneDrive for Work or School, makes it easy to have files uploaded from customers, vendors, employees, students, potential clients, and other people. The HUGE advantage of this feature is they can only upload files. The users that you request files from cannot see what's in the folder - they can only upload files to it. Which means they can’t edit, delete, or download. No account login or password is required. It is simply done with a link you send out. The files can be uploaded on a PC, Mac, or any mobile device. You can choose a folder where others can upload files using a link that you send them. The users that you request files from cannot see what's in the folder - they can only upload files to it.
This is a GREAT feature, but it takes a little extra training to make sure that you are aware of the best ways to use it. Mr. Menard has a great 12-minute tutorial here:
