Most applications and web browsers support a quick zoom feature. This is good for making text larger for those of us who have some trouble reading smaller text. I am often a little surprised that people do not take advantage of this simple feature. Try it out, and your eyes will thank you!

To quick zoom in/out in Windows:

  • Hold down the CTRL key
  • Scroll forward on the wheel of your mouse to zoom in or backward to zoom out OR
  • Hold down CTRL key
  • Hit your "+" key to zoom in or your "-" key to zoom out. OR
  • Pinch outward on the track pad to zoom in or inward to zoom out.

Quick Zoom on a Mac

  • Pinch outward on the track pad to zoom in or inward to zoom out. OR
  • Click on the plus (+) sign while holding Command button on your keyboard to zoom in. In contrast, Use minus (-) button with Command button to zoom out.
