Learn how to Navigate Infusionsoft

Let's take a moment to get our bearings, here. This section will show you an overview of your new Infusionsoft application.

It's important to see all of the different areas of Infusionsoft and how to get to them, so get ready to step back from the nitty gritty details for a moment and wrap your head around what you are handling here.

Infusionsoft is designed to perform your daily tasks efficiently through role-based and customizable navigation menus. Your menu options align with your Infusionsoft edition and your permissions. System administrators can see all of the available menu options and are able to edit the permissions for other users. If you cannot perform a specific task, you should contact your company's system administrator for help.

Here are some of the areas you should be familiar with. Afterwards, you'll be able to watch a video showing you everything and how to get there.

My Day Overview

When you open your application, the first thing you will see is called My Day. The My Day page was designed for sales reps on small teams of 2 to 5 people. The My Day page consolidates tasks and appointments onto one page. The left panel contains tasks and appointments, while the large panel to the right shows you the details of the tasks and appointments you select from the left.

Master Nav

When a user hovers over the Infusionsoft logo, the master nav displays each system area's high level navigation options.

Each system area (CRM, Marketing, E-Commerce, and Admin) has a matching area nav with additional dropdown menu options.

User Toolbar

The user toolbar menu gives the user access to organization, customization, and information tools.

Home - These tools may display in the master nav instead of the user toolbar. They allow a user to check email, create and manage tasks and appointments, as well as upload or access company or personal files.

Recently Viewed - This displays a list of the last few pages a user has viewed. It provides a quick way to navigate back to one of them.

My Favorites - This menu is completely customizable. Click on Edit to add a link. This is a great way to add links to external websites you frequent throughout the day (e.g. company blog, facebook, or twitter).

Marketplace Apps – This menu showcases apps that are ad-ons to the Infusionsoft application.

My Profile - This menu gives users access to customize their user profile, preferences, and email signature.

Help - This menu includes a variety of help options so users can view articles, watch training videos, participate in the user forum, or contact technical support.

Search - From this area, users can search for a specific record by name or ID number. Use the dropdown to select the type of search the user accesses most frequently.

The Dashboard

Let’s go to the Dashboard. In the user toolbar click on Dashboard You can add reports and activity widgets to create a custom, user-specific dashboard. The dashboard should display the information you need and provide direct navigation links to specific role-related lists and reports.

You can add dashboard widgets by clicking on Add Dashboard Widgets
